Platform Resize is an online image resizing and cropping tool that allows users to resize and crop images for various social media platforms and other purposes. All processing happens locally in your browser. No images are uploaded to our servers.

The service is provided free of charge and is intended for personal and commercial use, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

2. User Responsibility for Images

You are solely responsible for all images that you process using Platform Resize. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own the rights to all images you process, or you have obtained all necessary permissions, licenses, and authorizations from the rightful owners
  • You have the legal right to use, modify, and distribute the images you process
  • Your use of the images does not violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • You will not hold Platform Resize liable for any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of processed images

3. Prohibited Content

You agree not to use Platform Resize to process images that:

  • Are illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Infringe upon any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights without proper authorization
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Contain personal information of others without their consent
  • Are pornographic, obscene, or contain explicit content
  • Promote illegal activities or violate the rights of others

Due to the local processing nature of our service, we do not monitor, review, or have access to the images you process. However, we may restrict access to the service in case of abuse, excessive usage, or technical misuse that affects the availability or performance of the service for other users.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components

You acknowledge that the use of the service is at your own risk and that Platform Resize does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of any processed images for your intended purpose.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PLATFORM RESIZE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any other damages arising out of or in connection with the service

In no event shall Platform Resize's total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to use the service (which is currently zero, as the service is free). This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.

6. Right to Modify or Discontinue Service

Platform Resize reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, or any part thereof, at any time with or without notice
  • Change the features, functionality, or availability of the service

Platform Resize shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service. You acknowledge that Platform Resize may do so without prior notice, and you agree that Platform Resize will not be liable for any loss or damage that may result from such actions.

Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must discontinue use of the service.
