Is this tool free to use?
Yes, Platform Resize is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees, no subscriptions, and no premium features. You can resize as many images as you need without any cost.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No, your images are never uploaded to any server. All processing happens locally in your browser. Your images stay on your computer, tablet, or phone throughout the entire process.
Are the images stored after processing?
No, we do not store any of your images. All processing happens locally in your browser, so there is no server to store images on. Once you close the browser tab, all image data is cleared from memory. Your privacy is completely protected.
Can I use the resized images commercially?
Yes, you can use the resized images for any purpose, including commercial use. The tool simply resizes your images - it does not add any watermarks or restrictions. You retain full rights to your images.
What image formats are supported?
Platform Resize supports JPEG, PNG, and WebP formats for upload. You can download your resized images as either PNG or JPEG format, depending on your needs.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes, the maximum file size for upload is 30MB. Files over 30MB will not be processed. This limit ensures fast processing and optimal performance. If your image is larger than 30MB, please compress it first using another tool before uploading. Large images close to the limit may take longer to process.
Does this tool work on mobile devices?
Yes, Platform Resize works on mobile devices including smartphones and tablets. The tool is fully responsive and optimized for touch interactions. You can upload images from your mobile device and resize them just like on a desktop computer.
